Mrs. Ghostkeepeer has been with E.G. Wahlstrom School since 2017, when she became the Learning Support Teacher and was later appointed as the Vice Principal in 2018. There, she created and implemented professional development for staff, provided ongoing instructional coaching to teachers, established the collaborative response model structures to build teacher capacity and streamline supports for students, and oversaw inclusive education and mentorship, to name a few of her successes.

Mrs. Ghostkeeper has a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta and a Master of Education from Yorkville University. These are both in addition to her training and ongoing professional development for the provision of literacy supports and character education for students, achieving her Alberta Leadership Quality Standard certification, and attending and presenting at the Collaborative Response Symposium.

Mrs. Ghostkeeper will be assuming the role from Lisa Palko, current principal of E.G. Wahlstrom School. Ms. Palko is retiring at the end of the school year after 30 years of service to the High Prairie School Division. Ms. Palko, we wish you all the best in your well-earned retirement.
