The High Prairie School Division would like to congratulate Jamie Chalifoux, Indigenous Education Coach, on his recognition this past weekend at the inaugural Okimaw Awards held at Edmonton City Hall.
This event recognizes Indigenous men and leaders in our communities who have demonstrated qualities that align with traditional and cultural values.
Jamie was the recipient of the Knowledge Seeker award. He not only seeks knowledge for his own personal journey of reclaiming his culture, but he is always the first to generously share these teachings and knowledge with all of us at the High Prairie School Division.
