The High Prairie School Division would like to congratulate Saige Burnett on being awarded the Governor General's Academic Medal. Created in 1873, this has become the most prestigious award that students in Canada can receive and is awarded to the student graduating with the highest average from a high school, as well as from approved college or university programs.
Saige is a former Roland Michener Secondary School and 2022 graduate. She is currently in her first year of
studies at the University of Alberta in the bachelor of science program. She plans to eventually go to medical school to pursue her interest in either research medicine or forensics. We wish Saige continued success in all her future endeavours!
