Mrs. Dubrule has been with High Prairie School Division since 2005 with over 18 years of educational experience.

Mrs. Dubrule has been with École Routhier School as the Vice Principal since 2020. Prior to that, Monique was at Georges P. Vanier School as a junior high teacher, and in 2017, she was promoted to Vice Principal. During her career in education, Monique has worked on curriculum development, facilitated group meetings and presentations, supported and implemented character education programs, and acted as an instructional coach for teachers.

Mrs. Dubrule has a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta. In addition to the skills noted above, Monique is a longtime member of the Smoky River community and has run mentorship groups, coached extracurricular activities, and is a champion (and organizer) of French resources and cultural events.

Mrs. Dubrule will be assuming the role from Diane Benoit, current Principal of École Routhier School. Mrs. Benoit is retiring at the end of this school year after thirty-six years of service to High Prairie School Division. Diane, thank you for a lifetime of service to our division, its students, and its staff. Mrs. Dubrule, congratulations on your new role with High Prairie School Division!
